vBulletin 5 and 6 Plugin Compatibility

Will vB5 plugins work with vB6? That's one of the most asked questions when vB6 was released. Here in vBMods.rocks, the answer is mostly yes.

Most of the vB5 mods here in vBMods.rocks should work with vB6 but it's not a guarantee at this point due to obviously unforeseen frontend and backend changes introduced in vB6. We will test the mods with vB6 to check compatibility.

Here's the list of the mods we have tested so far. (✔️ = Compatible ❌ = Not compatible)

NOTE: If a mod is compatible with vB6 self-hosted, then it follows that it is also compatible with vBCloud (if vBCloud version is made available). So even if vBCloud links are not listed here, if its self-hosted version is listed, then it means its vBCloud version may also be available.

I wonder why it's not working for you. Do you see any JS error in the browser DevTools console? The mod has no PHP code so I was incorrect with my assumption in my previous post. It's just the JS that does the autolinking.

I haven't migrated yet, I was was waiting for the list to be updated for all of the plugins and also waiting for the first patch to come out for 6.x. I can now start planning to upgrade in the coming month for my forum.
