Ok so that is a personal setting that has to be done by the user? No way to make it a default option? So nobody's age or birthday shows up in the profile view?

Yes it has to be set by the user. I'm not sure if there's an option in AdminCP to make it a default to not show birthday.

A small question: in my forum the profile has been closed for guests (unregistered users), is it possible to apply this setting to the profile tooltip too?

I will fix this and also make some improvements as well as make it work independent with the new Name Card feature introduced in vB 5.6.6. This mod is redundant with the Name Card feature so it's recommended to not enable them at the same time.

Are you using custom style/theme? Can you try on Default Style?

I use a default style

I was deleting the old mod, installing a new one, still not working. This may be because deleting the old mod does not delete the template hook_profile_preview? How do I manually delete this template?

you now have an option to display the profile tooltip via click or hover. Defaults to click

I noticed that. The mod does not work in both cases.

displays Profile About information as a tooltip when you click or hover an avatar or username link

The detailed Profile About information displays when I hover over the Avatar, but not when I hover over the username link. I opted to use the hover option as I want to be able to click on a username to get to their User Profile page where I can click on the Pencil icon to open their profile in AdminCP.
