I wonder why in RTL the BBCode looks like this:
https://twitter.com/blah/blah[/TWEET][TWEET]
That doesn't look right. The Twitter URL should be in between the opening and closing tweet tags.
I would imagine, it should be like this in RTL:
[/TWEET]https://twitter.com/blah/blah[TWEET] or [TWEET]https://twitter.com/blah/blah[/TWEET]

I am getting this as well. When I try to post a tweet it appears in the wrong format. It shows as [TWEET=https://twitter.com/caplannfl/status/1071804770380406785][/TWEET] and does not show the tweet. What did I do wrong?Originally posted by glennrocksvb View PostWrong format. Check the sample in the first post.

This is the code I put in...
Code:<div data-tweet-param="{param}"></div><script>(function(){function k(a,c){var d=Element.prototype;return(d.matches||d.webkitMatc hesSelector||d.mozMatchesSelector||d.msMatchesSele ctor||function(a){return-1!==[].indexOf.call(document.querySelectorAll(a),this)}) .call(a,c)}function g(a,c){return a?k(a,c)?a:"HTML"===a.tagName?null:g(a.parentNode, c):null}var b="{param}",a,e=document.getElementsByTagName("s cr ipt"),e=e[e.length-1],f;if(/^http[s]*:\/\//.test(b)){a=document.createElement("a");a.href=b;b =a.pathname.substring(a.pathname.lastIndexOf("/")+1)}f=e.parentNode.querySelector('[data-tweet-param="{param}"]:empty');(a=g(f,".js-post"))?a=a.getAttribute("data-node-id"):(a=g(f,".js-post-sm"),a=a?a.getAttribute("data-nodeid"):Math.floor(Math.random()*10000));a="t_"+( a||"")+"_"+b;window[a]=function(a){f.innerHTML=a.html;a=f.getElementsByT agName("script");for(var c,d=document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0],b=0;b<a.length;b++)a[b].src?(c=document.createElement("script"),c.src=a[b].src,d.appendChild(c)):eval(a[b].textContent)};var h=document.createElement("script");h.src="https://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/oembed.json?id="+b+decodeURIComponent("%26")+"call back="+a;e.parentNode.appendChild(h)})();</script>Last edited by glennrocksvb; 12-10-2018, 10:53 AM.

The tweet URL should be between (not in tweet=) the opening and closing tweet tags. Check the format in the first post closely.Originally posted by Iamtdg View PostIt shows as [TWEET=https://twitter.com/caplannfl/status/1071804770380406785][/TWEET] and does not show the tweet. What did I do wrong?

I actually had one of the yes/no options wrong. Figured it out and it works great now. Thank you.Originally posted by glennrocksvb View PostThe tweet URL should be between (not in tweet=) the opening and closing tweet tags. Check the format in the first post closely.

When you right click and paste the url, paste it as plain text. If you copied the link from a web page and do a regular paste, the format where it's copied from is carried over and pasted to the editor. So make sure when the url is pasted, it doesn't turn into a hyperlink.

As I mentioned, you need to paste it as plain text so that it doesn't include the formatting.
That's how rich text editor works (not just CKEditor in vB but also on MS Word). When you copied a formatted text and paste it in a rich text editor, the text formatting will also be pasted.

So what changed? Is it a setting? I never had to do this in the past. Just copied the twitter link and pasted it in the tweet BBc. I dont even have that paste as plain text option. Is that your browser?Originally posted by glennrocksvb View PostAs I mentioned, you need to paste it as plain text so that it doesn't include the formatting.
