Require Topic Prefixes

If you have this Require Topic Prefixes mod, then you can make the Prefix dropdown field required.

If I did create them, there would be about 18 prefixes to choose from. Can I make it mandatory to choose one?

John Waggoner, if you make those icons as topic prefixes, then you could filter the topics using those prefixes. For example, I have Free and Paid topic prefixes which allow me to show all free and paid mods separately.

Yes, those are the Icons I would like to sort on. So, if you happen to have a 57-58 you could immediately sort all posts about that to the top.

So you want to make this icon dropdown field required? And you want to be able to sort topics by these icons from the Filter dropdown in the Topic list in a Forum channel?

I use Icons to identify certain groups that posts pertain to. It is a Car forum and I use Icons like 57-58 to identify posts that are about that group of cars. I like the idea of being able to force users to use the icons. I would really like to be able to click on the 57-58 icon and sort posts with the same icon to the top of the list.

Released v1.5 to add an option specifying usergroups that are exempted from the required topic validation.

Paid customers will receive an email confirmation containing the download link.

I can confirm that editing now requires a prefix with v1.4.
