Download the zip file, uncompress it and upload the XML in AdminCP > Products & Hooks > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product].
NOTE: If you are upgrading the existing installed plugin to a higher version, make sure to select Allow Overwrite > Yes when uploading the XML file.
Version History:
v1.0 - Initial version
v1.1 - Fixed compatibility issue with vB 5.6.6 due to the new name card feature.
Features:
- When you highlight a portion of a post, a Quote button appears next to it if you have permission to post to that thread.
- Can quote comments not just replies. By default, vBulletin 5 does not allow you to quote comments.
- Can quote multiple posts across different pages in a thread without losing the existing quoted text if the default AJAX pagination is not disabled by a third-party plugin.
- Adheres to the "Allow Quote BB Code" permission system. If that permission is disabled for the usergroup the user belongs to, the user will also not be able to quote selected text.
- Works on desktop browser but does not work on tablets, mobile and other touch devices. Get the Pro version for touch support and other features.
- Only compatible with self-hosted vB5 and not with vBCloud. To get the vBCloud version, click here.
