Twitter seems to have changed something and the TWEET bb code no longer works. I attempted to use it in my post above and you see it is blank.

Btw, the Tweet BBCode here accepts either the full tweet URL or just the tweet post id. That is mentioned in the first post.

On desktop you also have to choose Paste as plain text option. That's how rich text editors behave. If you copied a formatted text, it will also be pasted as formatted. This happens on MSWord or any rich text editor. You have to explicitly choose the plain text option when pasting.

iPhone 6s+. It doesn't work on desktop either?

And in Android 8 (Oreo), it offers a "Paste as Plain Text" option if the copied text in the clipboard is formatted.

What mobile OS are you using? I tried it on Android and pasting Tweet link copied from Twitter app doesn't turn the url into a link.

When I copy and paste a twitter link from desktop, nothing shows up. When I use mobile, it pastes it as a link so it adds [URL] tags and messes up the formatting. So I have to edit the post and take out the [URL] tags for tweet to embed. Was there and update to this? (I'm on the cloud)

Praying for the day we can just copy and paste a tweet without using BBCodes. I think VB is the only one left as far as forums go that makes us do this.

It should work in any forum as long as the tweet is public.
