Update: It only works by tagging [Tweet]ID[/Tweet] on my forum. Otherwise it just posts a plain link.

Over here it embeds automatically.

Did you mean it doesn't work when you use the full Tweet URL inside the [tweet] tags? It works here.

It works with the tags, but it does not work when I simply past the Twitter Link.

Xenforo has it automatically embed.

vB doesn't have auto-embed without using BBCode. And I don't have any mod for it yet.

I cant seem to get the code right to embed tweets/videos into the forum for X platform formerly known as Twitter This is the code below I added to my bbcode but it dont work,I dont suppose you would know exactly what i need to do to fix this I uesed this below Step 1: Access BBCode Manager

1. Log in to your vBulletin Admin Control Panel.
2. Navigate to BB Code Manager under the Custom BB Codes section.

Step 2: Add New BBCode

1. Click on Add New BB Code.
2. Fill in the following details:
   • Title: X Post
   • BB Code Tag: xpost
   • Replacement:HTML <div class="x-post"> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"> <a href="https://x.com/$1/status/$2"></a> </blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> </div>
   • Example:[xpost]elonmusk|1234567890[/xpost]
   • Description: Embeds a post from X (formerly Twitter)

I am using Vbulletin 4.2.1 any help would be great

Remove Tag If Empty	Yes
Disable BB Code Within This BB Code	Yes
Disable Smilies Within This BB Code	Yes
Disable Word Wrapping Within This BB Code	Yes

I don't think you can use $1 and $2

You use {option} and {param} like this:

https://x.com/{option}/status/{param}

And the BBCode would be:

[xpost=elonmusk]1234567890[/xpost]

I'm hearing issues where the Tweets don't show up in the Safari (iPhone and iPad) browser, but they do show up on Chrome. Have you of this happening or is there a fix we can implement to have it work on Safari?

FYI, I have updated the BBCode in the first post to fix missing tweet when there were multiple posts with the same tweet, only the last tweet would show.
