Free Mod Uncheck Remote File Checkbox in CKEditor Image Dialog By Default

When clicking the Image button in the CKEditor toolbar, it shows the 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally' checkbox checked by default in the Image dialog.



If you want this checkbox to be unchecked by default, then this mod is for you!

By keeping the checkbox unchecked by default, it encourages users to insert images from an external URL and not upload the file to your server.

Compatibility:
This mod uses Template Hook system to uncheck the checkbox. It works on both vB5 and vB6 including vBCloud.

NOTE:
For self-hosted vB 5/6, please ignore steps 1 and 2 in the readme file. It was a mistake. There's no "upload" folder to upload to the server.

This is a free mod. The source code for this mod may look short and simple but figuring out the solution was not simple and it required creativity and expert knowledge of vB5/6 Javascript codebase and Javascript in general. I downloaded the file for self hosted and there is no Upload folder in the zip file.

Sorry, there's no 'upload' folder to upload to the server. It was a mistake in the readme file. Just install the product XML file in AdminCP.
