I've been notified that searching for content in our forum is producing fewer hits than expected. This is born out by conducting the same search using Google.
Example:
Using the Advanced Search function in vBulletin and searching on phased AND updates with Sort By Relevance and Order Descending results in just eight hits, and those are all from this year (2025). There are far more posts with those two words than eight.
Using Googles Advanced Search:
Results in 24 hits, some from 2022.
