Just upgraded to VB 5, from 4 and have a community of people very upset with us
Scratching around for things to try make people a little happier.
Cheers,

welcome
It is natural that there will be discontent among the members
vBulletin 5 of the worst versions vBulletin Solutions co
If you have a backup copy of the site, work to retrieve it.
I will not keep it
You can not hide the fact that the fifth version is not valid for use and build a professional site
Many programming errors, many features are not available, system templates and style is not good, frequent error messages in the program.
Do not obscure the truth about others in order to win the money will lose confidence around you.
I'm not obscuring the truth. I just find it quite amusing that you advised someone about abandoning vB5 when in fact you yourself is still using it. I know you don't like vB5 based on your posts from vbulletin.com. Why not abandon vB5 then?
I do not hate how much you think
But the vb5 team from 2011 to today, could not produce a program that outperforms the old version vb3
During this period they can solve all program problems What does that mean to you?
If it was a good copy, many forums would have been upgraded
1. Not compatible with search engines and SEO by consensus.
2- system of friendly links is very bad. Needs to be redeveloped.
The above features are the two most important features that any programmer should be interested in and develop in terms of programming.
Without these features how visitors will earn.
People generally don't like change. What are they very upset about?
Thanks Glenn. I see your name popping up everywhere, supporting people, which is very really nice to see.
One of the things that bugs me the most is the removal of new posts. I used to click on it and be taken to the last read post. Now I need to click on the tiny 'go to first new post' arrow or click into the forum and scroll down to get a decent page number button and got find where I last read too. Really frustrating way of going about things.
Also, the I used Dartho's mobile light style. It was light and easy to use. I now need to click dropdown menu to get to a 'new topics' button to find new topics, then try find where I last read too.
Also on a mobile, the 'you have xx posts in this topic' icon doesn't show.
The mark forums read option is another issue for people.
Anyway, slowly but surely we'll either make people happy or they'll leave and new people will join that don't know any different.
As fun as all this was, I've gone back to VB4 and lost a lot of time and effort on something which seemed too buggy, considering there were no mods all all running.
Many have backed down to the old version
Including the vbulletin team does not listen to the advice and problems of others there will be no improvement or develop
