    News feed on front page

When I try to utilize a search module on the front page, it doesn't display images in line or attachments at the bottom, unlike abadvance. I'm seeking a method to select which forums appear on the main page. If I opt to use articles, I'll update this post if I find an image of the vbadvance Frontpage. Alternatively, if someone can guide me on making the search module show images in the excerpt and at the bottom with the "read more" or "goto post" option, I'll be satisfied. However, I suspect this might require custom scripting. I initially planned to purchase a copy of vb3.8, but was informed that downloading and using vbadvanced is no longer possible. As a result, I had to resort to this and abandon my favorite vb 3.8.

Will this mod work for you?

Are you finding the default Search module lacking the forum name when using the default view? Take a look at the default Latest Topics module below. It would be nice if you know which forum name those latest posts belong, wouldn't it? (Note: vB has since updated the Search Module to display the forum/channel name long

Please also take a look at my last post there (#54) for the latest updates to come.

        It's here:

By default, the Search Module truncates post content within a single line with ellipsis in Default view. Showing just one line may not be enough to give users an idea what the post is about. To wrap the post content in 3 lines with ellipsis, simply add this custom CSS in css_additional.css template. .search-widget .b-post
