    Latest cloud update

Whats going on in the latest update, had several issues already. Also button sizes and font etc all changed !

    #2
The main change was they changed the CSS font size units from px to rem. This may affect the font size on a site after the upgrade as you now encountered.

Please see their announcement for more details of this change.

Will this change any font sizes that were made with custom CSS?

If using px and not rem then it shouldn't be affected.

px unit is a fixed size unit. While rem is relative size that's relative to the root's size.

It seems that the update will switch everything to rem automatically,. I hope that I’m wrong and it wont. If that happens my site will be screwed up because all my fonts are adjusted larger all over. Both in stylevar and CSS

I don't think there will be a master rem / pix switch to just flick..

            I'm worried

But if you are using px in stylevars and in custom css, the forum upgrade script will/should keep them and not touch them. The elements which you didn't customize (either via stylevar or custom CSS) will use rem when upgraded. Those are the ones that may be affected.

Boy I hope so. Basically all of our content is enlarged from the default settings for a more user friendly experience. That took a lot of time to get done and to have one update kill it would not be good
            Yes i’m using px's.

            Thanks for the response

Since the above posting I noticed that the search text is off only on IPad and I phone landscape view. I posted this over on VB
