Glenn, can a double menu line be made? I would like to make more areas visible without using the dropdown. Or even a double menu line with both having drop-downs? If I add more to the existing line it interferes with the search box, plus limited on how many

I think vB calculates the available space and if the menu is too wide to fit on the available screen width, it collapses the menu and transforms it into a Hamburger menu.

It's going to be complicated for a third-party script to override the default behavior.

It doesn’t on ours, it splits the row and it goes underneath. So you still have to be careful how many tabs you have or how many words in each tab..

I have Glenn’s drop down mod. I still need it because of all the headers contained with in. My question is. Does the dropdown mod not allow having a second menu line where I can have things visibly show? Some items in the dropdown I would like to put there. If I add more to the current it transitions to a hamburger which I want to avoid

No, it is bounded by the existing vB logic on showing the Hamburger menu. I'll have to take a look if there's a way to override that behavior.

Mitch, yes. I actually tried to implement it the other day even before your post. It's not finished yet. The Search box moved to the Main Navigation Bar is making it more complicated. It would be easier to implement without that mod.
