    How are margins/padding controlled

    Just looking for free info I suppose. I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me how I could adjust the padding or margins in an article. I'm digging around but I don't know exactly how to do this. I did define a class with the margins I wanted, but when I surrounded the contents of my article with a div with that class it mess up the font size.
    So does anyone know what variable or whatever I can adjust?

        Thanks. Where exactly do you want to add padding/margins? Could you take a screenshot and mark it?

          In the first example: this is after I have added a div to increase the padding. It's changed the default font size for some reason. I don't mind it, but I cannot figure why containing the contents of this article in a div would change the font. In example two: this is from a different, unaltered article ... lower on the page. The way the theme was designed, the text ends up right on the edge of the white background as you scroll down. I just don't like that look.

          This is how I have defined the class

          Code:
          .default-article-spacer{
              margin-top:0px; margin-right:15px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:15px;
          }

            It changed the font size from 12px to 14px because you have a span container with inline font-size style.

            HTML Code:
            <span style="font-size:14px;">
                <div class="default-article-spacer">
                    ...
                </div>
            </span>

              Thanks for checking. But the strange thing is that I cannot see that span when looking at the html of the article, and I did not place it there.

              Anyway, I've taken enough of your time.
              Thanks again!
