Need to see your site in order to check if the code is correct and not overridden by other CSS.

When and where did you get that error message? That's not related to this mod. All you have to do for this mod is to add custom CSS code in css_additional template in AdminCP or via Sitebuilder CSS Editor. If you have errors adding/saving custom CSS then it's a general error you have to fix first.

    I get this message

Invalid Page URL. If this is an error and the page should exist, please contact the system administrator and tell them how you got this message.

That's what I thought, however it doesn't appear that way here.

The CSS code provided here should apply to all avatars across the site. Can you post a link?

We would need more information. They definitely do work because I use them on both my demo sites.

What code have you added, and where have you added it? Can we have a link to your site where the avatars are not working?
