        Double check your css. When you right click on an avatar and inspect it, do you see the round avatar css?

          Then there's something wrong with the css. Check for missing or stray { or }. Or you may be looking at a different style?

          Actually, it was the /////////////////////////////////// that i was using between each {css} script that was tripping it up. specifically the leading divider. Removed it and now is working.

          Glad you figured it out.

        What would cause the image to be round everywhere except on the membership page?

          Good catch. I just noticed that too.

        I fixed that recently on this site but forgot to update the CSS on this topic. Will do it shortly.

            Quickie on this one....it doesn't change avatar shape in vB Messenger.

            Will try and work out what's needed to be added to do that.

              Thanks for reporting Mark. Will also look into that when I get to my computer.

            I think this might sort it:

            Code:
            .b-avatar--pmchat {
                border-radius: 100%;
            }
            .b-pmchat__participants-avatar {
                border-radius: 100%;
            }

                  I found another area where they remain square...oddly....guest avatars in Who's Online (the page).

                  i will have a look later on and see if I can find some CSS to sort this.

                    Looks like this fixes it:
                    Code:
                    .avatar.xx-small {
                      border-radius: 100%;
                    }

                      Thanks, Mark.B! I've updated the first post with your fix. I made it more generic by using img.avatar and img.b-avatar selectors to cover all <img> tags (now and in the future) with avatar classes regardless of the avatar size (x-small, xx-small, etc.)

                        I'd love to have the rounded avatars for my members-to-be ... but I just can't find any option to allow upload avatars in the first place!
                        I know vb5 (I've got 5.3.2.) has a ton of settings, and I've searched in vain both high and low to find a setting that denies/allows to upload avatars.

                        Any last-resource help?

                        Cheers!

                          In the Usergroup Manager in AdminCP, enable "Can Upload Custom Avatars" permission.
