I can make a new mod for vB6 to change the color of the stars based on the number of the stars. For example, green for 5 stars, red for 1 star, and so on. Let me know if you are interested.

        Thank you, Glenn,

It seems that any kind of graphic can now be used, so I’ll go ahead and add different stars, colors, medals, and other elements.

However, my main concern is with the constant changes to vBulletin features. There aren’t really any major new additions, but I consistently encounter technical difficulties every time I update the forum.

With a phone, computer, or car, it’s usually one click and the update is done.
But with vBulletin, going from version 6.0.0.0.0.0 to 6.0.0.0.0.1 requires 100 steps. By step 3, it stops, and then you have to start over, hoping you have a backup of your database. You’ll need to run a couple of SQL commands, pray again, modify some files, no, not those, the others, but now they’re in a different location.... and so on.

        Every time, I’m left stranded.

I completely understand your frustration with the complexity of these software updates. It can be incredibly daunting to navigate through so many steps, especially when there’s a risk of losing important data. It’s so disheartening to feel stranded after putting in so much effort.

If you ever decide you’d like some support with the upgrade process, I’m here to help. I can guide you through it or handle it for you to make it smoother and less stressful.

Thank you, next time I'll ask a quote from you too. The one I had this time from vBulletin was unreal, $500 to go from 0.0 to 0.6
