image background

Hi,

How I can add an image as forum background.

I tried via admincp but still no changes, and tried css as well, and the same thing.

Any advice?

Update the body_background stylevar in the Style Variable Editor in AdminCP.

The format of the background image url is incorrect. Look at the example provided in the Background Image field.

No, of course you can use any image type. Look at the format used: url(/path/to/the/image.whateverextension)

Idk, that's really weird , it did work BBcode perfect.

Is that right: /path/to/the/images/background.jpg ?

The value should be:

url([COLOR=#0000FF]/path/to/the/images/background.jpg[/COLOR])

Obviously you need to change the path to where your background.jpg is located. It could be images/background.jpg or I don't know where. You're the only one who will know this.

Yeah, did work, by the way, how I can make it to be for full page? As is only a half page, pure sure because of size of image,

    background-size: cover;
}

Thanks glen, added, but I will put image later, as everything is transparent , and need to put forum, modules colours.
