    how to remove table border in static html modules

    I have some advertisement code that I'm copy&pasting into a Static HTML module. The code reads <table border=0> but it shows a border around that table anyway. Also would like to remove inside borders <tr> and <td>.
    How?

    Thanks

    Try adding this in css_additional template in AdminCP or via Sitebuilder Style CSS Editor.

    Code:
    .restore table[border=0] td { border: 0; }

        I missed the quotes.

        Code:
        .restore table[border=[COLOR=#FF0000]"[/COLOR]0[COLOR=#FF0000]"[/COLOR]] td { border: 0; }

          I see Glenns code worked for you. What did you use for an editor?

          I use Dreamweaver and tried Glenns code but the border still shows.

            Yes, the code works. Thank you sooo much Glenn !!!

            NumNum : you can just edit it via the Admin Control panel

            go to styles, edit styles, select "edit templates" in the drop down box. Find css_additional.css (listed under CSS Templates). If you haven't done any other customization the file will be empty. Just copy&paste the code there

              Yeah I had done that with no change. I guess the editor question is really a moot question since all the html code is stripped out anyways.

              I've got something else tripping it up.

                NumNum does the <table> tag have border="0" attribute?

                  I don't see border="0" in the table tag and I don't see the CSS code in css_additional.css.

                  Btw, the code needs to be adjusted to also remove the borders in <th> tags.
                  Code:
                  .restore table[border="0"] td,
                  .restore table[border="0"] th { border: 0; }

                  All set.

                  I had removed the additional css when it didn't work. It was the missing table tag. Thank you sir, some morning coffee coming your way.
