Hmm...I tested this mod in 6.0.1 before I released it.
Where did you see the error, in AdminCP or on the site pages?
Can you please check the error logs to see the detailed error?

Try to enable debug mode if you can't find the error logs. Once you see the detailed error displayed on the page, please post it here.

Did you upload the files from the 'upload' folder to your server?

I didn't see anything in the error logs that is related to this mod. If you could re-enable the mod for a little bit and load the page again and then disable the mod back and then upload the latest error logs, that would be great. Thanks.

BTW, based from the other errors I see in the logs, it looks like you're using PHP 7.x? The minimum PHP version required for vB6 is PHP 8.0.

Just installed this, and I am also receiving the same error on the forum pages when the product is enabled. Everything looks fine on the admincp side when it's enabled. I'm running vb 5.7.5 patch level 3 with php 8.1 and tried up thru php 8.3. The weird thing is I'm not seeing any errors come through from the forum to error_log or the database error file. The logs haven't had anything come through since 15 days ago. I'm not sure where else to look. I'm not seeing any other info in system logs.

Thanks for providing the error stack trace designguy. That's very helpful.
Are there any active banner ads in the AdminCP > Advertising Banner > Banner Manager?

If you add a new banner ad, the error will go away.
But I'll fix this bug to make sure the site does not break if there are no banner ads added yet.
I will release a new version of this mod soon.

Ah, it's working for me now, thank you. I'll keep an eye out for the new version. As a suggestion, you might want to add features later such as the location of where to put the banners. It currently puts them under the navigation bar, but it might be nice to be able to place them above the nav, or specify either location and have ads in both places, oh and the bottom under the forums.

danielmorashov, what is that screenshot?
Did you click the Insert New Banner button and then click Save link after choosing an image to upload?

Sorry, the video is no longer available. But double-check the installation instructions again. It might be an upload folder permission issue. Also check the error logs on the server for related error stack trace at the time the issue occurred.
