I have never edit the mobile skin before. Is it hard or easy? I don't see many tutorials on it either. You ski. For example, is it a downloadable skin or are there others ?
I download the media skin but I couldn't figure out how to install it or even remove the default one 😵💫
I have never worked on mobile style for vB4 before. The templates for mobile are separate from desktop which is totally different from vB5 which has one set of templates for both mobile and desktop. vB5 uses Responsive Web Design to change the UI for mobile using CSS.
Yes. It just hides/shows some elements and adjusts the layout using CSS Media Queries based on the available browser screen width. Try resizing the browser width on desktop on this site or at https://forum.vbulletin.com to see the layout automatically adjusts to mobile view. That's what Responsive Web Design is.
If there's no checked mobile style in the Style Manager, then it means users won't be able to choose mobile style when they are on mobile, which means desktop style will be used.
No, it doesn't work in vB6. The online/offline status icon has changed to Font Awesome icon in vB6 and the HTML and CSS classes have changed as well....
