Is this a settable option; to display or not display; for showing the IP Address when viewing Who's Online? Is showing the IP address a violation of the GDPR? As we are a site located and operated in The United States, do we need to be concerned? If 'yes', where in vBulletin is the control?

Found where this is controlled.
A member queried us about this because when he visited Who's Online he saw the IP address of online members and guests. He lives in Germany so is intimately aware of the GDPR. We of course, our hosted in the U.S.
These are the Who's Online Permissions for the Registered Users usergroup:
Who's Online Permissions Can View Who's Online Yes No Can View IP Addresses Yes No Can View Detailed Location Info for Users Yes No Can View Detailed Location Info of Users Who Visit Bad / No Permission Locations Yes No Can view actual location of user (filepath/url). Yes No
He is in the Registered Users usergroup, so why is he able to see the IP addresses? The Linux Community has given me much. I do what I can to return the favor!

I think I found out how this is happening.
This member belongs to Valued Contributor Additional Usergroup, and the permission Can View IP Address is set to Yes there. I've changed that setting to No.
Is there an easy way to globally set this setting to No except for the Administrators Usergroup, or do I have to go into each Usergroup and check/change individually? The Linux Community has given me much. I do what I can to return the favor!

I'm afraid you'd have to set it individually.
