Removing embedded URLs from database tables (autolink issue)

Hello,

I noticed our forum was using autolink, and now many words across topics (including smilies) are automatically linked to a specific site. I want to remove only those embedded URLs from the database.

The issue affects over 1500 entries, so manual editing is not practical.

Is there a way to run a MySQL query to strip or remove only the embedded links pointing to that specific domain, without affecting the rest of the content?

The links are saved as [URL} BBCode in the node and text tables. The BBCode may have these variations:

[url="https://www.example.com"]text[/url]
[url]https://www.example.com[/url]

For the first example, the text part will be preserved and the link removed.
For the second example, the link text is the same as the URL. In that case, should the link be totally removed? The sentence containing the link may not make sense if the link is removed.
