How did you get a separate background behind the Copyright information?

How exactly did you/do I accomplish this? I would like to make our Copyright container semi-transparent, as the standard dark text doesn't show against our dark background image.

Add this custom CSS in css_additional.css template:

#footer-copyright {
    width: auto;
    float: right;
    background: rgba(255,255,255,0.5);
    padding: 10px;
    border-radius: 5px;
    color: #000;
}

You may also need to change the copyright links if you want.

    color: maroon;
