    Display Spiders in Who's Online

Unfortunately, forums.vbulletin.org was taken down by vBulletin. Times change. Life moves forward.

When we were running on 4.2.5, we were using a MOD that displayed Spiders in Who's Online. A Google search finds what I believe is an older vBulletin Manual reference to a native facility to do this: https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/what_is_spider although maybe it's in vB 6x? Nothing like this exists in vBulletin 5.7.5. , and a search for 'Spiders' in AdminCP > Settings > Options > Show All Settings finds nothing.

Has anyone (or even yourself) asked for/considered making a MOD for this?
The Linux Community has given me much. I do what I can to return the favor!

In vB6, the browser useragent of the user is diplayed on Who's Online page.

From the useragent, a mod could determine if a user is a bot (from a configured list of bots) or not. It would be easier to do this mod in vB6 than vB5 because vB5 does not show the useragent on Who's Online page although the useragent information is saved in the session table.
