Paid subscription setup

Hi all,
I am trying to get my paid subscription setup and I'm just not getting it. I'm looking for some paid assistance to get it set up and working.
What I want is:
I have 2 forums, one will be free and the one paid. The paid will be used to post items for sale.
I want all registered users to be able to view and respond to topics in the paid forum but only post with a paid subscription.
Wondering how a registered user who isn't currently subscribed to be able to upgrade to a paid subscription.
I "thought" I had things set up but... One main issue is the option for a paid subscription does not show on the registration page but an error comes up saying you need to select a registration option.

Sorry for the delay here, cleaning up from some work we had done here at the house. So, it looks like that worked!
So, what would it take for this:

1. Have the paid group visible to all visitors but not the posts? Only the posts visible to registered users? Not sure on this as I contradict myself below.
2. Have the posts in the paid group be visible to all registered users and let them reply but not post. Or is a reply considered a "post"
3. Paid subscribers can see and post in the entire site but they are the only ones who can post in the paid forum.
4. Does VB have coupons? If I want to give someone a free subscription?

Essentially, I would like any visitor to see what items are listed for sale to generate interest but they would have to register to contact someone who has a post up.

Let me know what's possible and what the cost would be to configure the settings this way.

And lastly, just because I'm curious, if you had to take a wild guess, what percentage of people who start forums actually succeed? I'm thinking less than 5%

What about an IM? Could someone view a "paid" post and IM the poster to make contact?

Ok, lets go that route, let me know the cost of the work. Also, do you know, if someone wants to go from a registered user to a paid subscription, is there an automatic process or what would have to happen?

In the User Settings, there is a Subscriptions tab where they can see all the paid subscriptions they can subscribe to. You can create a Notice for that and create a link to it with /settings/subscriptions URL.
