Camera Logo Icon for uploading images when posting

Using VB Cloud.

I like the camera icon logo button upload attachment functionality located in the toolbar (pic attached) instead of the upload button below the text field.

When I use the camera button, it shows the images in my sidebar widgets (pic attached) but not if user use the standard upload attachments.

Am I doing something wrong for the standard upload or widget settings? I am good at user error, it probably my fault.

I would like to get rid of the standard upload button or modify it to function like the camera button. Or just have the camera icon upload button where the standard button resides only.

I tell my users but it goes over their head to use the camera icon button.

There are different content types for a post and each type has a different behavior and different set of available fields and required fields.

1. Text
   • The default type - no icon (Camera, Link, Poll, Event) is selected
   • Text is required
   • Optional but can attach files (images, videos, etc.) using the Upload Attachments icon (at the top right corner) and insert them anywhere in the post.
   • Attached images don't appear in the Search module
2. Gallery
   • Click the Camera icon
   • Text is optional
   • Image attachment using the Upload or Select from Photo Album button is required
   • Attached images appear at the bottom of the post as thumbnails
   • Attached images appear in the Search module
3. Link
   • Click the Link icon
   • Text is optional
   • Link in the Link field is required to be added
   • Link appears in the Search module
4. Video
   • Click the Link icon
   • Text is optional
   • Video link in the Link field is required to be added
   • Video appears in the Search module
5. Poll
   • Click the Poll icon
   • Text is optional
   • Poll answers are required
   • Can only be used when starting a new topic and not in a reply
   • Poll answers appear in the Search module
6. Event
   • Click the Calendar icon
   • Text is optional
   • Event details in the Event form are required
   • Can only be used when starting a new topic and not in a reply
   • Event data appears in the Search module

Once a post with a certain type is submitted and saved, you cannot edit the post and change its type to something else anymore.

As mentioned, the attached images in a Text content type posts don't appear in the Search module. But you may see thumbnails in Latest Topics, Paid Mods, and Free Mods search modules on this site. I am using this Search Module mod on this site as linked below:
