Question about features of calendar

I would like to create a recurring event on my calendar. For example, I would like to stream a game on Twitch every Monday and Thursday. It seems I can only choose one date when I start a topic. do I really have to create a new topic for every day I want to put on the calendar? In my forums, eight topics (two a week) for one month is just too much. I really do want to have a nice full event calendar, though. There's got to be a more elegant solution. I am open to ideas, or if I'm missing something.

PS- I also tried creating a "spam" event channel not visible to regular users, but a regular user isn't able to see any event created in that channel.

Unfortunately, it's technically impossible to do recurring events due to the architectural implementation of Calendar events in vB5

If a channel is not visible to users then any topic in it is also not visible.
