There's nothing wrong with storing the attachments in the database. There are advantages and disadvantages of both db and file system storage type.
The main advantage of storing in the db is easier migration of the site to another server since the site data and attachments are in the same storage. The main disadvantage is the db size gets larger.Helpful? Donate. Thanks!
