This is especially important when pasting "code" into a post.
I have a lengthy bash script. It contains two if then else fi sections, and of course, for clarity, appropriate content below then and else is indented two spaces. But whether I just paste the content into a post, use QUOTE or CODE tags to enclose the content, vBulletin strips the leading whitespaces from each line. Why!
Am I missing something? Is there some setting that allows for the preservation of intentional whitespace?
