I have vBulletin 5.4.5. I use GoDaddy as a hosting service. I recently had my site go down and finally got it back up after adding back the database privileges on the server. It was up for about 8 hours and then went down again. I went back into the database and the privileges for my user account on the server. I have had to do this many times now to keep the site up. I contacted GoDaddy and they told me it was nothing on their end and to contact vBulletin about it. Every time I contact vBulletin they say since they can't see the error logs there isn't anything they can do. As soon as I add back the privileges the site comes back up. Any ideas?

This seems like a server issue and GoDaddy is just passing the responsibility to vBulletin.
Did you check the server error logs to see possible clues?

I did check the error logs but there were none. I think I'm going to have to argue harder with GoDaddy.Originally posted by glennrocksvb View PostThis seems like a server issue and GoDaddy is just passing the responsibility to vBulletin.

Tell them that vBulletin doesn't control or manage the database users.
