Issue with border/hover

So ive got this custom style that I've uploaded into my new forum and have been tweaking some styles and what not. For the life of me, I can't figure out where to go to edit the border on these customicons. Also when i hover over them I get that same purple color. For a custom template like this, do I need to be looking somewhere outside of stylevars to edit the color scheme? Thanks

I assume whoever created that theme didn't create stylevars for those icons. If that is the case, then you have to tweak the style using css_additional.css template.

Why do you have HTML tags in the CSS? Are you sure that's the css_additional template? It looks like the template for the icons itself.
