How to mark as new thread

Whenever a new thread is created I want that new thread sticker must be shown.

In such a way. Any help please.

For how long the New Thread sticker will be present? When you read a new thread, does it go away?

I want the new thread sticker to be shown as the new thread is created and it new thread sticker should be present untill some reply has been gone for that post or i want all topic to be marked as new thread which we can see in latest post also.

Does the new thread sticker go away after x hours the thread was created or when someone replied to the thread whichever comes first?

Hello Glenn,

First of all I have to put new thread sticker how to show the new thread sticker to all the post which is just now created or posted. And once the new thread sticker is shown for the new post it should be gone once the thread is replied by the another user.

By default, there is no feature in vB5 that marks threads as "new thread" after it is created. But there are other indicators such as the blue document icon which means a thread contains unread posts. There's also the blue down arrow icon which when clicked redirects you to the first new post in that thread. Those icons go away when you open that thread.

So instead of blue document is there any chance I get new post sticker and that new sticker should be once once anyone replied to that thread.
