It is so boring to simply "Like" a post. Xenforo has this mod and its excellent. Any way to build something like this? Even if its just a few more additions to the boring "Like"
With the limited PHP Hooks functionality of vB5, I doubt the robust features and integrations of that mod can be replicated in vB5. A simpler mod might be possible. Either way, I need these PHP Hooks added in vB5 to implement this mod. Please vote for it.

DragonByte has this mod that allows you to do more. I am running it, but I am not 100% sure I am going to keep it. There is definitely room for someone to write a better Thanks/Like/Dislike mod. Don't really need all the bells and whistles that Dragon Byte comes with. One thing about the DragonByte mod is that it's sending a private message for every Thanks/Like and there is no way to turn that off -- that's not necessarily bad, depending on how you want to set it up, but that's a reason that I may shut it off.

My members would consider that a deal breaker. lol
Check core/vb/api/node.php and find the closeNode function. If you are using the compressed PHAR version of the vB5 package, you will not see the api...
