Like the avatar notice on this forum - how do you make the notice disappear once an avatar is uploaded? I think the logic can be applied to a few different scenarios (show an achievement badge, etc). Do you need to make 2 notices (on & off)? I know a script is used here, but where do you put it? In the footer?

It uses Javascript and CSS to update the visibility of the notice. If you want to do the same for different scenarios, I can help you do the custom code for you. PM me if you are interested.
