I noticed that the Blogs list page doesn't show statistics such as:

Any way I can get the stats to show?

I see what you mean Glenn, but I only put a link to /blogs in the navigation bar. I did this because the default Blog channel doesn't appear anywhere on my site even though the display order is set 1.

I'm game for this as well. I was looking for a newsletter mod that does the same thing. The admin zone kicks out an update monthly that gives specific topics, that pulls me back into their site to peruse. There is a mod over there, but its for vb4.

This would be a pretty slick mod/plugin IMO.

This would be the perfect addition to any community forum on vb5. I'm also interested in seeing this in the future.

vB has daily/weekly digest scheduled task. You can use it or create a new scheduled task off it that sends email to users for new posts in a specific forum even without subscription.

I played around with this and cannot seem to get it to work.

Did you create a new one or use the existing?

Does it work if you run the task manually using the Run Now button?

I assume not because when I do run it that way I expect an email be sent to the webmaster, no?
