I see on other forum software, Xenforo a big one to do this, a very prominent "Join Now" button.



This jumps out at the user/visitors unlike the vbulletin style. How big of a deal is it to create something like this that brings them to the signup page?

You can add a Sign Up button in the default guest Notice. You can add HTML in Notices. That's what I did here.

I'm happy with this. The only other thing that might get peoples attention is having it pulse until mouse over.

Is there a way to have that module narrower and align right?

About this size?

So its not all across the top?
