Is there a way to create a media page like this?

Either by plug in or Mod?

Has there been much request for others to have something along these lines as well?

I had someone asked me something similar but not for media or albums. It was for creating a Grid view for thread listing similar to this art-based vB4 forum:

I did a quick prototype for that in vB5 but never had a chance to polish and finish it yet. Here's a screenshot of what I have so far:

In the version you have worked on, is each picture (visible) an index page to an album? Or is it like a search result page similar to the link?

Each image links to a topic. The images are attachments to the topics.
