My forum is a resource for sweepstakes and giveaways. Each topic has a lot of content in the first post. The members use custom reactions (green tick / red cross) to show if they have entered that particular sweepstakes, or are not interested in it.
As a new reply in a topic will make that topic turn bold and appear in the VIEW NEW POSTS list again, members are finding it frustrating as they think it's a new topic, then they open it and scroll past all the sweepstakes information (there can be quite a lot of text/rules/terms and conditions) to see they have already reacted with a green tick and entered that particular sweepstakes.
They have requested:
Or maybe there is another solution to show members which topics (sweeps) they have 'entered' and therefore don't want to read that topic again?
Thanks for any adviceβ

- If a member has already reacted to a post, is it possible to show their reaction on the main sub-forum topic list? (similar to the paperclip that shows there is an attachment, there could be a column to the left of this showing their reaction to the initial topic post, a column of green ticks to show which ones they have entered)
- Or is it possible to show the 'add reaction' button at the top of a post?
- Or is there a way to add the long 'terms and conditions' text to the original post as a hidden (spoiler) section, that they could expand if necessary?
