Ban USER from THREAD or subforum/node

    Ban USER from THREAD or subforum/node

    It's possibile to BAN an user from a thread/topic ( 1 day, 3 day, 7 days, 1 month)...


    Or..... from a sub forum? (like for example 'NEW MODIFICATION REQUESTS/SUGGESTIONS)

    If you delete a post, you also have an option to ban that user. That's already built-in functionality.

      But.... EXCLUDE ('ban') the user from a thread... he can READ but can't write on the topic...

        Do you want to restrict someone access to topics or forum channels? If yes, then create a usergroup with no permission to view or write in that channel then move users to that usergroup.

            There has been times when I wanted to ban a user from a certain thread too.

          When a user is banned to access a topic, should he still see the topic (at least the topic title) in the search results, last post column, activity stream, etc.? And then when they open the topic, they see a ban message?

            Ok to VIEW and read... but he cant' write....... It's ok for me.... I mean that!
