How to exclude posts from certain category to appear on front page ?

Hello,

My forum is mainly based on technology and computers etc. But for fun i want to add a celebrity section as well but i dont want such posts to appear on first page, whewere all the latest posts are shown.

I am running vb 5.6.6

please tell me how to do it ?

In Search Modules, there is an option to include or exclude specific forum channels to display the latest posts from. But on Latest Activity tab, I don't think you can filter out posts from specific forum channels.
