Glenn I wonder if you could help answer a question for me please.

Trying to reduce our bandwidth, we have lots of photos in old posts going back many years that are no longer needed, they are in member only areas and not referred back to or relevant to our site visitors. if I delete the attachments and posts, will it have much effect on bandwidth in the future?

Are the old posts getting viewed by users? You will only incur bandwidth usage if the posts are accessed.

No they aren’t. They are in a closed area.

probably not that then. I suspect bots.

Then you don't have to worry about bandwidth for these old content.

Bots are more likely the cause of your high bandwidth usage.
