    I'm jumping into the future...

    Hey folks,

Ive had a vbulletin forum for about 24 years and its still running on vb4.2.5. I've commissioned a upgraded server and going to be upgrading to vb6.

Quickly realising that things are not going to be the same. Many of my mods/addons are not available. Most importatly the Downloads II mod. Looks like I'm going to lose all the downloads. Sad times. If anyone knows of a replacement mod or how I will be able to access the files, I'd appreciate it.

    Cheers
    Glen

Not familiar with the Downloads II mod. Are the files stored in the file system or database?

Hi Glenn, there is options to store them in either filesystem or database. My site has them in the filesystem due to the size.

It's not attachments, it was a separate section of the site to upload files, like a repository so to speak.
