    Howdy from Texas

Been a while since I have messed around with vBulletin. Started a small site and wanting to find a few mods to help spice it up a bit.

Anyway Preston here, glad to drop in and say hello.

Welcome I am in Texas too, just started a forum,...having trouble getting traction on it... I think I need some kind of hybrid approach of social media and forum.
    How is yours going?

So far so good. Pretty much stock. Currently using VB 5.7.5 but thinking of upgrading to 6. Not sure yet... You mean traction as far as getting people to join? Thats a tough one, you need a nitch, a facebook page pointing to it never hurts.

Thanks, love what I see so far. Holding off on mods till I know if I am staying with VB5 or moving to VB6

Most of the mods I originally made for vB5 here also work in vB6.

. Why did you choose 5 over going to 6?

Was the version I purchased sometime ago. Was using it to see if I wanted to move forward with vBulletin. I decided to keep it so now to decide which vs to go with.

Yeah I saw that most vb5 work with vb6. Don't really need much in the way of mods but wanted that option open to me in case I decide to add them. I do like mod you have for e-commerce. Might think about that in the future.
