My web host went out of business after nearly 20 years. I had to do backups of all my Forums to a new site. That's when I started having problems.
I was using a mixture of various versions of vbulletin. The new host was using php 8.x. I began to see incompatibility. So i decided tobstart over.
I would still like to recover data from two of the sites. That might be a challenge.
While installing 2 new forums I ran into a problem with logo images in headers. I saw a post from someone here that directed me to this site.
I looked around and found a lot of good stuff here. So I registered.
About me: I'm an engineer, served in the Marine Corps (63-67), like photography and Jeeps. Married 57 years, this year. I have worked in France, Sweden, Japan, S. Korea, and of course the U.S.. Still working full time.
I like programming. I have several websites, that are mostly used for documenting things that are of an interest to me.
