Greetings from awesome New Zealand.
I have no training in coding or computers or the internet, but have pottered around - low end hobby type engagement - in the area since a long long time ago. I'm a government employee, SME type, working in a completely different area.
My being here is the result of trying to install vB 5.4.5 and make it work. That effort has been character building at best, but I think this site might be a help … both with the vB and with my knowledge.

Yay, I just did one

It was a simple 'CSS additional' effort - https://vbmods.rocks/forum/vbulletin...-in-the-header - but it worked.

I'm hooked, and now will have to restrain myself from turning my forums site into a beginner-powerpoint-presentation full of distracting bells and whistles.

Next:

- More searching through the freebie collection.
- Custom profile fields in the postbit area. The thing that brought me here to start with.
- Round avatars. Yeah I like that.
- That clever little 'topic starter' flag thing.
