Hi there,

do you have tipps for .htaccess or else of vbulletin 5 installation like in this Guide for VB3 http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=193930 ?

I guess this would be very usefull for members here...

It is also to do with server/network/firewall level. Making sure you have a good firewall like CSF and mod_seurity rules. Also, you have to be careful when changing permissions for folders and files e.g., when suphp is bein used.

Make sure FTP/control panel/Admin login details are secure too.

Oh.. my son demonstrated me today how important it is to add the "^[A-Z0-9]+$" or else in the registration options (because of the blank space)

So I just thought I will add this here...
