    Direct Url to own profile

    Hi there,

this might be a silly question for experts.. but I have googled now a lot and canยดt find the correct answer for my problem

I would like to add a link named "Profile" to the navigation bar BELOW header... Because its more visible like the small link in the main navbar on window top.

But which URL is correct for it? Or isnยดt it possible via a "normal" URL/Link

Unfortunately, you can't. The profile URL is dynamic as it contains your userid. You can't use dynamic URL in the navigation bar.

So I need to add this somewhere in the template for that menu? But it should be of course insivible for not logged in users.

I have done something like this on my website and it works.
Depending on version of vbulletin i am using VB5.3.0 alpha
First you will need your user id it will look something like this( domain.com/member/2-name)
Using sitebuilder open navigation window should open up like

Name:	profile.png
Views:	46
Size:	18.9 KB
ID:	3215
Then in navigation will look something like the pic below when you click on link will take you too that profile

Name:	profile2.png
Views:	42
Size:	10.0 KB
ID:	3216

I think what the OP wants is to have a Profile link in the nav bar for whoever is logged in so that it's easily accessible instead of being hidden in a submenu.

Well, I could hide it with CSS for not logged-in users. (Its the class .logged-out used in body tag)

Yes... I already added a "Mail-Box" and a Link to profile settings... I was hoping it would be something like profile.php for the Profile
