Help Needed! How to exclude all featured topics from search ?

For example the below search json returns all topics.

{"sort":{"lastcontent":"desc"},"view":"topic","exc lude_type":["vBForum_PrivateMessage"]}

I want to exclude the featured topics from there.

I already tried adding:

{ "featured":"0" }

{"sort":{"lastcontent":"desc"},"view":"topic","exc lude_type":["vBForum_PrivateMessage"],"featured":"0"}

But it didn't worked

I don't think there's a way to do this using search JSON. To exclude something in the search results, you would use the exclude_type filter but you can only specify content type there. Featured is not a content type.

Could you make a solution for this ? I am trying to display featured topics and others topics separately on the homepage. Is there any other way to solve this ?
