        No,. Search engines can still see the content. The posts are just hidden via css.. As I mentioned in the first post, advanced users may be able to see the content if they view the HTML source.

          This a stretch, but can this be configured for the owners manual (help) module and all of its individual pages are blurred for unregistered guest?

            NumNum I'll take a look. But I think this should be a separate mod as it's hiding different content compared to the original mod. And should the nav links on the left pane be blurred too or just the main content on the right?

              I would say the links as well.

              What would be the teaser for users if they at least don't see the links?

              Its actually a security thing where I don't want them to see it unless they are a member. This is for my intranet site. I have the navbar link secured, but that doesnt stop them from going to the page url if they know it.

              Then try hiding the content instead of blurring it:
              Code:
              .logged-out .help-widget {
                  visibility: hidden;
              }

              .logged-out .help-widget:before {
                  content: "Sorry, you are not authorized to view this page.";
                  visibility: visible;
              }

            Is this available for the cloud? Can I choose individual areas to be blurred? I would like to keep my online store visible for guests.

              Yes this works on vBCloud but you can't choose individual areas to be blurred. It blurs all replies and comments on forum topic pages, blog posts, article posts and group posts.

                  Does this mod effect the search bots in anyway? Would hate to drop off the map lol

                  No, the content is still visible to the search engines. What exactly do you want to blur on the store page? This would require different code than what this mod has.

                  I don't want to blur the store page at all. My question was if I install this mod I do not want that to happen.

                  Oh ok. The store page will not be affected by this mod. This mod only applies to topic pages.

                    Just take the CSS code out of the template and put it back as needed. Normally, you would just enclose the entire block of code using the comment tags /* and */ so that it will be ignored. But some parts of the code already have the comment tags and nested comment tags are not allowed. So taking out the code is the easiest way to turn the mod off. The code is short and can be placed anywhere in the designated template so this should not be a big deal.

                    Or remove all occurrences of /* and */ in the code including the text inside them. Then enclose the entire block of code within those comment tags.
